HyFTS Program Chair
Role and Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop list of potential speakers for webinars and talks (incorporate input and feedback from committee members)
2. Reach out and engage the potential speakers for upcoming talks
3. Collect required information from speakers for preparation (including but not limited to Title of Talk; Speaker Name; Speaker Title; Speaker Company; Speaker Bio; Headshot of Speaker; Date and time of Talk)
4. Reach out and share the webinar information with following committee members:
a. Treasury to ensure we line up sponsors together with speakers
b. Social media to ensure flyers are prepared and published at multiple venues (email, HyFTS website, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
c. Administrative as they work the logistics of events
5. Update WEBINAR Planning and Tracking Sheet with talk information and status of readiness
6. Schedule and host Dry Run with speaker (minimum 1 week in advance of talk date)
7. Collect the poll questions from speakers (if any) and include in the talk plan.
8. After each talk solicit input from committee members (and potentially from attendees) to identify the potential talks as SPE DL recommendations
9. Pursue opportunity to host and lead events (special session / breakfast talks / etc.) at different SPE and other conferences and workshops, such as URTeC Special Session, Breakfast at HFTC, ATCE, etc
- Collaborate and support other committee members towards HyFTS goals and mission
- Reach out and engage additional SPE groups and others for collaboration opportunity to invite and offer speakers and talks covering topics which are collaborative or have synergy for Hydraulic Fracturing Technology
Time commitment.
· 8 hours per month
· Attending monthly webinars (1.5 hours per month - virtual)
· Attending monthly committee meetings (1 hour per month – virtual)
