Description
Abstract:
With increasing commitments to de-carbonize oil and gas operations, redefining our mindsets is essential to meet the challenge. Those in the flow assurance discipline have an important role to play in supporting this change. Holistic thinking to include the reservoir, flow through pipes and separation processes were already part of the flow assurance considerations in design and operations. This discussion would be a dialogue of associated gas management that supports the transition to net-zero emissions. Ideas to manage associated gas and the urgency to advance current tools enabling effective predictions will be discussed. We will also discuss technologies where flow assurance would play a critical role and skill sets required to enable that transition.
