This Breakfast Series was created to provide commercial and business-themed professional development to target managers and other E&P professionals.  Topics are chosen based on their business relevance and overall attendance is limited to 50 attendees to promote quality discussion.

Abstract:

Amidst a recovery in the oil and gas industry, E&P companies are looking for ways to increase workplace efficiency, leverage better technology, and deliver more value shareholders. In today’s volatile market, the ability to adapt and be agile is critical. Removing the barriers of unnecessary silos, legacy technologies, and functional islands are essential to create a more collaborative, responsive, and competitive organization. In a recent IDC Energy Insights study, analysts conclude that both large and small oil and gas companies “are all looking for a platform-like approach so that they and their employees can seamlessly move from app to app and not worry about moving data and heavy integration”.i

Having a solid architecture for core E&P workflows means that companies can focus on running operations and managing their business, rather than dealing with inaccurate data, questionable decisions, and looking after ‘’. It’s time to break down the data silos in the upstream landscape to improve performance, reduce risks, and make faster decisions that yield immediate economic results.

Quorum is the first energy software company to deliver digital transformation to the oil and gas industry. Learn why a platform-centric approach enhances every facet of your upstream operations. Users can capture data once from land acquisition, accounting, reserves, budgeting, and production, and generate a complete picture of the business across the organization.
