A frank conversation about engineering and risk in the oil field from an insurance perspective. No stone unturned in this open conversation about corporate culture, risk, technology, trust, and how engineers can help the industry fix broken business models.
Biography:
Pascal is dedicated to helping transform our highly inefficient or broken traditional business models into more efficient, profitable, and sustainable approaches and solutions for the tangible oil & gas industrial economy. Pascal's focus is on addressing risk and improving capital oil & gas project delivery and value optimization. Pascal brings unique experience and insights with a background in global risk management and insurance, focusing on well control and other related Oil & Gas insurances.
Over 30 years experience in insurance including Risk Management, Underwriting, Marketing, Thought Leadership, Sales, Team Building, Training, and all aspects of international insurance transactions up to and including Reinsurance, Retrocessions, and Foreign Fronting arrangements.
Specializing in Marine & Energy MGA Underwriting programs and exclusive facilities on behalf of domestic American, Lloyds, London, European, and Bermudian insurers including Supply Chain and Terrorism related insurances.
Created, Developed, Underwritten, and managed a long standing book business from worldwide and established production sources. Extensive network of production sources range from the largest brokers to smaller independent insurance agents. Account sizes range from the very largest global accounts to middle market and small accounts.
Pascal is a Marine & Energy Insurance CE and CLE instructor approved in a number of states. He is a vaunted speaker in his field; Pascal has spoken at events such as the IRMI Energy Risk and Insurance conference, the Tulane Admiralty Law Institute conference, the IIAH Energy Symposium, and the AAMGA University program. Pascal has also contributed numerous marine and energy articles to Insurance Thought Leadership, AM Bests Review, Business Insurance, Insurance Journal, Chartered Insurance Professionals Society magazine in Canada, and others.
