Abstract
The concise video presentation will focus on mechanical inspection services in horizontal wellbores and production inflow in horizontal wellbores post frac. The presentation will demonstrate a case study where the well operator used the camera to verify whether ports were open or closed and treated with sand. The second well will focus on hydrocarbon/water contribution in a horizonal wellbore identifying oil/condensate/water/gas entry along with sand/water holdup issues within the wellbore with the camera. Some great video leading to many questions and heated discussions!
Biography
Curtis first started in the downhole camera business with Halliburton in 1993 as an EIT. Since then he has built and grown multiple camera businesses in Canada with DHV Canada, Expro Group, and EV Canada. Now, he is a part owner with Downhole Video and Intervention, designing and manufacturing its own downhole cameras to service the global market. He has applied his unconventional perspective to the camera service and now to the mechanical inspection service side with conventional logging tools for a complete overview of the wellbore inspections and production analysis.
