Guest Speaker: Jason Bradford, Drilling Technical Specialist at Pioneer Natural Resources
Jason Bradford is a Drilling Technical Specialist for Pioneer Natural Resources here in the Dallas area. Jason achieved a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1997 and has been working in the Oil and Gas industry for the past 22 years. He began his career as a Production Engineer with Texaco and after their merger with Chevron continued his career as a Drill Site Manager and Drilling Operations Engineer working stints across US Land, Canada, Alaska, and China. Jason began working at Pioneer in 2013 as a Sr Staff Drilling Engineer before advancing to his current role as Drilling Technical Specialist. He has been a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers for 24 years and is also a member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers. He is considered by many as an expert on casing and drill string design, has published an SPE paper on Casing Drilling, and recently developed an innovative shale horizontal casing connection.
