Dear CCUS TS members,
The SPE Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Technical Section (CCUS TS) are seeking nominations for officers to serve on the CCUS TS committee for the 2024/25 year starting from October 2024.
The following positions, with a brief synopsis of roles and responsibilities, are open for self-nominations (all are a minimum one-year term with option to renew):
- PetroWiki Lead – Responsible for the management and content update of PetroWiki pages relating to CCUS.
- Program Chair(s) – Responsible for the arrangement and promotion of programs, and incidental activities relating to special projects, publications, events, and webinars. Note multiple Program Chairs are sought to cover various regions globally.
- Membership Assistant Chair – Responsible for managing membership reports and attracting members to the CCUS TS through various platforms (LinkedIn, events etc.)
- Young Professional Representative – A supporting role that provides insight and advice regarding programs that will benefit members at the early stage of their career.
In your nomination please provide information about your motivation to become a SPE CCUS TS officer, together with your relevant experience.
The nominating committee will have final authority to assign nominees to roles based on their expertise and judgements made during the evaluation process. A diverse slate of officers will be sought by the nominating committee.
Nominations will be accepted by our Technical Section Chairperson Dominic Pepicelli at dominic.pepicelli@sa.gov.au. The deadline for submittals is Friday, September 6, 2024.
