How supplier-to-supplier collaboration contributed to success in a challenging drilling operation in the MidCon

Biography Duncan graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and began working in the oil and gas industry in 2012. The first part of my career was spent supporting downhole data acquisition and drilling performance improvement implementation. Shortly after a year in that role I transition to a field based bit design role for a drill bit company. In May of 2017 I joined Varel Energy Solutions as a Regional Engineering Manager. In November of 2020 I moved to the role of Application Engineering Manager which is similar in functionality but with more customer contact and a bit less direct design responsibility.
