Abstract Awareness and understanding of natural resources constraints by all project team members is crucial to ensuring efficient execution for projects of all scopes and sizes, from pipeline integrity digs to multi-state pipelines. This presentation will include a review of key U.S. federal laws related to natural resources, including Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The presentation will also explore current happenings within natural resources policy and common natural resources issues encountered in Oklahoma. Biography Ms. Laine serves as the National Program Manager for Natural Resources for Apex TITAN, Inc., a division of Apex Companies, in Austin, Texas. For over 9 years, she has provided technical and strategic expertise in natural resources compliance for state highways, residential and commercial projects, regional water supply systems, conservation lands, industrial facilities, telecommunications networks, and thousands of miles of oil and gas pipelines in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and North Dakota.#Health,SafetyandEnvironment#HSE#environment
