The Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NipeX) a Division of NAPIMS was established by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in December 2005. Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (nipex) is an electronic platform for tender processing in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
The NipeX system consists of two complementary web-based applications, namely the Joint Qualification System (JQS) and Electronic Marketplace (eMarketplace). The JQS facilitates supplier selection for contract opportunities, while the market place enhances contract approval processes.
