Ronke

 Ronke is a seasoned businesswoman with over 26 years’ experience in the area of oil and gas operations, trading and marketing, and management. She brings complimentary skills in relationship building, strategy, business development and networking.

She is the principal consultant at DRNL Consult Limited, UK and Delt-R Company Limited, Nigeria. She is on the board of several companies with interests in agriculture, food and beverage manufacturing, telecommunications, education and human capacity development and oil and gas sector.

She acts as country director and in-country representative for both BNP Paribas and Natixs in Nigeria since 2005 and 2016 respectively.  She advises and represents both banks entire service offering, specifically Corporate & Investment Banking, Trade Finance and Commodity Structured Finance.

Ronke also acts as an independent consultant to FOSTER in Nigeria (Facility for Oil Sector Transparency and Accountability) an initiative of the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), and as an agent for international clients in the energy, power, oil and gas and telecommunication sectors.

She received her BS (Bachelor of Science) degree from the University of Rhode Island, USA in Resource Development and her MBA from Durham University’s Business School in the UK and the China-Europe International Business School, Shanghai (CEIBS), China, she is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School (The Pan Atlantic University), she obtained post graduate training in crude oil trading and marketing at  Oxford University’s College of Petroleum and Energy Studies and has participated in executive education courses at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, England. She is a Fellow of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Program and has received numerous national awards for her contribution to entrepreneurship and business development.

She is considered as one of the go-to persons in the Nigerian oil and gas sector and is active in business development and client portfolio management.  Her areas of practice include but are not limited to performing due diligence on persons, corporate’s and transactions, corporate relationship development and relationship management, market research and market entry strategy, gap analysis and audit,
government policy compliance for international firms active in Nigeria, account management and conflict management, origination and management of deals and non technical aspects of the execution process.

Ronke is a member of the Institute of Petroleum UK (1993), Institute of Directors (2012), she sits on the Executive Council of Ogun State government and the Executive Council of Wimbiz and on the boards of several oil and gas companies.
