Blaine Horner has been working with the Society of Petroleum Engineers for about two years now. He has been the regional activities specialist for North Sea, South, Central and East Europe and Africa since December 2015. Within this period, he has been involved with different sections and chapters, regional director’s support and president’s travels as well as regional member programmes. Earlier, he has served as the Calgary Section Coordinator of Society of Petroleum Engineers within August 2014 to December 2015.
He has also worked with different agencies within 2004 to August 2014 under various positions including: guest service agent with Delta Hotels and Resort; Server with Model Milk Bistro in Calgary; guest experience supervisor and also as a server with the James hotel in Saskatoon, Canada; guest service agent and night audit relief with Grant Rockies resort in Canmore, Alberta; and as a server with Century Hospitality group and Century Catering and Event Planning.
Blaine Horner has a bachelor of commerce (B.com), Business Administration and Management (from 2007 and 2013). He has completed classes in the fields of human Resources, Operations Management, Finance and Accounting.
