Research and Development Division (R&D) of NNPC was set up in 1977, to solve operational and technical problems in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry, using results of scientific research and application of technology. R&D is an NIS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certified Organization.

Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NipeX)
The Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NipeX) a Division of NAPIMS was established by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in December 2005. Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (nipex) is an electronic platform for tender processing in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
The NipeX system consists of two complementary web-based applications, namely the Joint Qualification System (JQS) and Electronic Marketplace (eMarketplace). The JQS facilitates supplier selection for contract opportunities, while the market place enhances contract approval processes. Our service offerings include: supplier pre-qualification, industry collaboration, online approvals, rfxs& reverse auctions, reporting and analytical services

Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Limited (NPDC)
The Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Limited (NPDC) was established in 1988 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the NNPC with responsibility for Petroleum Exploration and Production activities. NPDC activities cover the spectrum of the upstream Oil and Gas business. Operations are mainly in the Niger Delta and span five States (Imo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers) with over 257 host communities.

Our Mission is to become an oil and gas company operating responsibly, delivering value to stakeholders and applying the best industry practices and technologies. NPDC has a Board of Directors, a Managing Director and five Executive Directors in charge of the five divisions (Operations, Joint Ventures, Services, Finance & Accounts and Technical Services).

Integrated Data Services Limited
Integrated Data Services Limited (IDSL) was established in 1988, as a subsidiary of the NNPC, to provide hydrocarbon exploration services in the local and international oil and gas industry.
IDSL’s services include Seismic Data Acquisition, Seismic Data Processing, Reservoir Engineering and Data Storage and Management Services. IDSL operates a 100% fully owned Seismic Acquisition Crew, and is also into Joint Venture partnerships with some International Oil Servicing Companies in Nigeria. The Company operates a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy and carries out Corporate Social Responsibility Investments (CSRI) towards its host communities and other public.
