Orwell Limited (AOSO) is an indigenous Oil Servicing Company engaged in
the business of Well Construction, Welding Fabrication and Machining,
Process Automation and Conductor Casing & OCTG Manufacturing across
sub Saharan Africa. Formed in 2011 as a result of a merger between
Africa Oilfield Services (AOS) and Orwell International Limited, the
company has grown her capacity to offering numerous products and
services.
With
the advent of the Nigerian Content initiative, AOSO has recorded
unrivalled local content success by being the first Nigerian company to
locally assembly PDC Drill bits in 2010, establish the first Fishing
training school in 2010; open the first HE/NOV drilling jar certified
service shop in 2011; own the largest indigenous conductor casing and
welding fabrication shop in 2012; build the first instrumentation
cabinet assembly plant in 2013; launched her Valve repair and
maintenance center in 2014 and first metering skid facility in 2015.
