LOE Reduction Through Artificial Lift Data Collection and Analysis
Presented by Dallas Barrett, Jr; Director of Applications, Dover Artificial Lift Systems
Among higher cost LOE expenditures is artificial lift, both in terms of capital investment and routine maintenance. Capturing, monitoring and understanding the data greatly improves design and subsequent system calibration resulting in reduced lease operating costs and increased production/revenue. Selection of software systems and proper hardware systems play a principal role in data capture and analysis.
Mr. Barrett’s background in software design and hardware selection come from several years of both field and office experience. His background includes multiple service providers across several continents, including Lufkin and Dover in N. and S. America and Asia. His particular expertise has had a rod-pump focus, but he is experienced with all forms of artificial lift along with data capture and analysis from these systems.
Mr. Barrett holds a degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is also a Journeyman Electrician.
