Event Cancellation and Refund Policy


Unless otherwise specified for the particular event the following policy applies.


Requests for cancellation or refund of registration fees paid will not be accepted unless a request in writing (eg via email) is received as follows:


Cancellation Request Received by


Two business days prior to Early Bird Closing Date

100% of Early Bird Registration fee

Two business days prior to Regular closing Date

75% of Early Bird Registration Fee paid or;

100% of Regular registration Fee paid

Two business days prior to event

50% of Registration Fee paid (Early Bird, Regular, or Late)

Within two business days of event or no show

No refund


Substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to the event, provided the substitute is of the same, or lower registration fee category (ie person (say student) cannot substitute a person who would have normally paid a higher registration fee, but a non-member, could substitute a member where the non-member’s registration fee is equal to or higher than the member registration fee).


Exceptions may be considered in the case of extenuating circumstances and will be considered on a case by case basis.  The need to travel for business is not considered to be an extenuating circumstance.
