Greg Simpson bio:
Greg Simpson received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry from West Texas State University where he was a Robert A. Welch Fellow. He received his Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois.
He has about 30 years’ experience in corrosion, scale/deposition and microbiological control in a variety of industries. For the past 20 years, he has had a focus on oxidation chemistry and is a recognized authority on chlorine dioxide chemistry and applications.
Greg is currently involved with R&D and technical support for PureLine Treatment Systems, LLC a company with a special focus in chlorine dioxide.
He has consulted internationally in a wide variety of industries.
He has well over 100 technical papers and 20 patents, both issued and pending. He has authored two books on ClO2, Practical Chlorine Dioxide, Volumes 1 and 2. The third, to be published shortly, has a focus on Oil & Gas applications.
He currently resides in Clear Lake, Texas.
