Dear SPE Member.

It is our pleasure to invite you to the first Combined Section Field Trip to the Basel area from May 8 – 10, 2017. Together with our local sponsor Endress+Hauser we have organized visits to a shale rock laboratory and the production and calibration centers of oil field sensors. The CEO of Endress+Hauser will also attend when our 2017 SPE President, Janeen Judah presents her keynote speech. In addition you can listen to a SPE lecture on Tuesday evening.

We have a limited number of participants for the Mont Terri Rock Laboratory. The facility can handle maximum 40 visitors.  For the visit at Endress+Hauser we want to limit it to about 80. First come, first served!

Late registrations cannot take part in the Mont Terri visit. Register early!

Participants can park their car at Hotel Stücki and use the bus for the trip to St. Ursanne, or later at 12:00 directly from Hotel Stücki to Endress+Hauser in Maulburg.

The “Mobility Ticket” issued by Hotel Stücki for their residents allows free of charge transportation by bus and tram in Basel. Tram Nr. 8 drives from the hotel directly to Basel center, Marktplatz, next to the restaurant Safranzunft and back.
