SPE Distinguished Lecturer Program 2017 - 2018 -

Created in 1961 with just three lecturers, the Distinguished Lecturer Program is funded primarily by the SPE Foundation through member donations and a contribution from Offshore Europe. We also appreciate the companies that allow their professionals to serve as lecturers and the additional support from AIME. More than 450 presentations are offered each year.

On January 18th 2018, SPE Romanian Section will have the privilege to have Mr. Wadhah Al-Tailji, the first Distinguished Lecturer of 2018. Together with him, at the event we'll meet Mr. Peter Janiczek, Senior Stimulation Engineer from OMV Petrom, presenting a case study about the application of combined chemical tracer technologies to optimize completion procedures in the Black Sea and Mr. Alexandr Mocanu, Technical and Sales Support Engineer at Schlumberger, with a constructive approach to hydraulic propped stimulation design and evaluation maximizes field production.
