Abstract

  • The East West Bank energy team will give a marketplace update on trends in upstream (75% of talk) finance and touch on midstream. They’ll share perspectives on commercial debt trends, specifically in Reserve-Based Lending, and the YTD bond offerings, IPOS, and much anticipated escalation of debt refinancing or pay-off. 

Biography

 

Christina Kitchens is the Managing Director of National Energy Finance at East West Bancorp (NASDAQ: EWBC), that is in the top 25th largest US public banks by total assets and market cap and in top 20 largest US banks having an energy finance focus. Ms. Kitchens leads the energy finance platform principally focused on $5MM-$500MM senior debt lending to upstream and midstream middle market companies along with other ancillary finance products. Ms. Kitchens is a founder of the Texas Energy Leadership Series, Texas Energy Council’s Ambassador Series and co-founder of Women’s Energy Network in North Texas among other organizations. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas (BA and MBA) serving on several UNT boards. Further, she has been recognized by Dallas Business Journal and Houston Business Journal as a "Who's Who in Energy Honoree"; by Oil & Gas Investor as "20 under 40 in Energy Finance"; and by D Magazine as one of "The Dallas 500 - The Most Powerful Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth" for the last two consecutive years.  

 

Haylee Edwards, FVP, Energy Finance- Upstream

 

Haylee Dallas Edwards is a First Vice President/Relationship Manager of Energy Finance at East West Bank with a focus on senior debt financing for E&P companies across the United States. Haylee joined East West Bank in May 2016 to help grow their energy lending practice. Prior to joining East West Bank, she spent 10 years split between Wells Fargo’s Oil and Gas Division and most recently, MUFG Union Bank’s energy practice. Haylee has her BBA in finance from the University of Oklahoma. In her free time, Haylee is proud to serve on the boards of Women’s Energy Network and Contemporary Ballet Dallas.

 

Patrick Leznicki, SVP, Energy Finance- Midstream

 

Patrick Leznicki serves as Senior Vice President of National Energy Finance, specializing in Midstream lending at East West Bank. Patrick joined East West at inception of the energy group in 2015 to help facilitate platform growth and brand launch. Prior to East West, Patrick served in various energy finance banking roles for over a decade starting his career at Comerica Bank. Patrick holds a BBA and MBA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He is active in several energy industry organizations with involvement on various boards, steering committees, and finance roles. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
