Dear SPE Oslo friends,
On February 18th around 50 oil and gas professionals gathered for a very educational deep-dive into the engineering applications and essentials of seismic. With a tremendous eager to engage and educate the audience, John Erick Battie from AGR gave us a solid seismic lecture including examples that spanned from prospect evaluation to production optimization. Following this talk, we all joined for a wonderful winter dinner, enjoying new and different surroundings at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Oslo.
The next SPE Oslo event is a downhole monitoring lunch to be held at AGR’s offices in Skøyen March 4. The presenter for the event will be Jakob Haldorsen from READ AS, and the topic is "Listening to a Compacting Reservoir Using a High Channel-Count, Down-hole Array of Acoustic Sensors". We hope to see you there; welcome!
