Dear SPE friends,
After an amazing Easter holiday with sunshine and “Kvikk Lunsj”, there was no better way to start the 2013 spring than to meet with good SPE friends at a wonderful SPE Oslo lunch.
On April 2nd around 45 suntanned participants gathered at AGRs offices at Skøyen to attend a good discussion on challenges related to arctic resource development. By addressing common claims related to risk evaluation and management in arctic areas, Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen (EVP and COO in DNV) and Leiv Lunde (Director at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute) pointed to a need for good cooperation and risk understanding to secure responsible operations in arctic areas and they included several interesting evaluations of geopolitical aspects.
The next SPE Oslo event this spring is one that we are extremely proud to present. On May 23rd, SPE Oslo together with Oslo Børs and PwC welcome you to what we believe is a different and very interesting full-day seminar on reserve reporting and valuation of E&P companies. Read more on this page and sign up here. We look forward to seeing you there!
Also, remember to keep following us on Twitter and Instagram (@speoslo) and enjoy the wonderful spring season!
