WHO CAN VOLUNTEER? Anyone over the age of 8 can volunteer at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
CAN CHILDREN VOLUNTEER? Volunteers must be at least 8 years old. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of volunteers under 16 must provide at least one adult chaperone for every 10 children. All volunteers under 18 must have a signed Parental Consent Form.
I HAVE NEVER VOLUNTEERED. WILL I BE TRAINED? Yes. Volunteers will receive training and safety procedures for each project they are assigned to. WHERE IS THE REGIONAL FOOD BANK LOCATED? Our address 3355 S Purdue Ave, OKC. We’re located in southwest Oklahoma City, not too far from the airport. You can find us just north of SW 36th street, between McArthur and Meridian. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Comfortable work clothes Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops allowed)
