Why Flow assurance and target solutions?

An overview of the flow assurance discipline and its origins will be presented, emphasising how its correct application should result in higher production availability and lower interruptions to flow by the deployment of targeted solutions that both ensure production and diminish unnecessary expenses.
Gladys has over a decade experience in Flow Assurance. She started her career as an engineer with PDVSA, and then did a Masters in Petroleum Engineering while working for the paraffin deposition projects at The University of Tulsa. She has worked for Advantica, Shell, The Xodus group, and Eni – Tecnomare, and she is now consulting independently with Flow ahead.
She has experience working for producers and consultants, performing simulations studies, working with laboratories, and helping develop operational procedures for producing fields.
