Lisa Lumley

"Science of Engineering Meets Art of Ethics"

Lisa Lumley is a battle-tested trial lawyer who, for 25 years, has used her passion for protecting her clients’ businesses and property rights to successfully resolve and win disputes in a broad range of industries and now owns and manages her own litigation law firm, Lisa Lumley Law.
Lisa is Board-Certified in Oil and Gas Law. Other attorneys rate her at the “highest level of professional excellence” and have voted her a “Top Attorney.” She has been chosen by the State Bar of Texas to research and draft the official jury questions judges across Texas must use, and she has been chosen by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy to instruct lawyers around the country. Lisa’s legal articles are published in a variety of scholarly journals and she has achieved the rank of “master” in a Tarrant County honor society founded to foster ethics and civility among attorneys.
Lisa Lumley graduated with honors from the Ohio State University College of Law in the top 10% of her class after being Managing Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal and winning multiple awards for writing, legal knowledge and advocacy (including being awarded “best oral advocate” by the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia).
Although she helps many charities, Lisa’s favorite is Doberman Rescue, inspired by the five Dobermans she has rescued and trained since 1995 because, she says, “only your lawyer should be a junk yard dog.”
